Heath Ledger dies at 28

I am absolutely devastated by this news, and it hasn't left my head once all day. As much as it pains me to write about this, I feel a certain obligation to just get the bare facts down.

Fans, loved ones and New York locals are shocked and devastated at the news of Australian Oscar nominated actor Heath Ledger's untimely death on Tuesday. He was found by his housekeeper at 3.30pm in cardiac arrest and surrounded by pills, unable to be woken. Police arrived soon after but were too late...
He was also suffering from pneumonia at the time of his death.
Heath was previously involved with Michelle Williams with whom he has a 2 year old daughter, Matilda.
