Pretty in Plaid
Plaid was a trend that began popping up in a few major shows during New York Fashion Week. I think this is something we can expect to be seeing a lot more of this winter - as LC has shown us, it's already catching on.
I'm a little on-the-fence with plaid. It's always a bit of a Hit or Miss situation, really, especially when it comes to coats. As Rihanna has demonstrated, yellow plaid has the potential to be super hot! But if we look at Peter Som's plaid on the left, which is basically just an oversized pyjama top, well I can't really say I'll be rushing out to by anything like that, anytime soon...
What do you all think? Plaid: hot or not?
Catch.

The Ralph Lauren collection is amazing!

And Ralph Lauren never fails to please me.
I like Lauren's hair at the moment

Yay! I've been wearing plaid foreverrr. ;]
Alexander McQueen had this plaid trend 3 years ago...
I noticed to... i loove LCs coat, I dont think ill be wearing plaid though :)x
I love wearing plaid shirts.
Actually, I adore plaid! Just not in excess. Balenciaga of course has done spectacular plaid jackets, and I believe someone mentioned McQueen above. I bought a gorgeous tomato red plaid blazer from Anthropologie the fall before last.
It's definitely a trend that has potential. But it's not to be attempted by any but the style-savvy.
Laurens looking rather good these days, I must say.
The Hills is my guilty pleasure (so OTT, I love it!) but I always kind of disapproved of Lauren's style, thinking it odd that she had managed to score an internship at TV (esp when other TVers had such great style. Whitney, anyone?)
BUT, It seems LC has got a stylist! And she looks all the more better for it.
I'm so glad that so many like plaid - I was hoping it wouldn't be one of those trends that sort of builds and builds around fashion week, but never really takes off, because everybody's already over it. Lol.
Lauren is garnering herself quite the 'style icon in the making' status isn't she? And the haircut is perfect - it gives her a chic edge.
Fingers crossed for the Plaid-Trend eh everybody? :)
